Layer 1 was the missing piece.
Datacenters run three or more separate networks, for AI/HPC, storage, applications, and management, because Layer 1 has always been static. Fixed fiber paths cannot adapt to traffic in real time, so operators over-build and GPUs sit idle waiting for the network.
The fix was never a faster controller on a static physical layer. It is a physical layer that adapts on its own. Once Layer 1 is as intelligent as the layers above it, the multi-network crisis disappears: one fabric serves every workload, and the GPUs stop waiting. That is what we build.
